Huntington County Hometown Improvement Family Life Pillar
Organizational Status:
- Members: Mark Wolf, Karen Hinshaw, Hallie Selig, Debbie Darnell, Joey Spiegel, Jan Williams, Chris Kauffman, Holly Saunders & Carla MacDonald
- Two meetings have been held. At the first, we discussed and brainstormed services available to families at the present time. At the second meeting, we formed our mission, goals and sub-goals. At our next meeting, we will develop objectives for each goal.
Team Vision/Mission Statement:
- “Helping all families achieve stability”
Team Priorities and Goals for Huntington County families
- Financial Stability
- Housing (affordable and adequate)
- Health (mental, physical, freedom from addictions, spiritual)
- Family Development (parenting skills, conflict management, childcare and child development, positive role models for youth, awareness of education)
- Transportation (need for expanded availability)
Work Completed and Work in Progress:
